Fravert, Edward H. (23 FEB 1907 – 29 OCT 1974)
Edward H. Fravert, 67, 203 W. Mill, Spencer, died at St. Joseph's Hospital,
Marshfield, at 1:45 a.m. Tuesday, October 29, 1974 following a lingering
illness. The body will lie in state at the Rux Funeral Home after 2:00 p.m.
Wednesday, October 30. The funeral will be held on Thursday, October 31 at 2:00
p.m. at the Trinity Lutheran Church, Spencer, and interment will be in the west
Spencer Cemetery.
Mr. Fravert was born on February 23, 1907 at Rib Lake, Wisconsin.
He received his education at the Rib Lake Grade School and Deckert School. He
was married to Estelle Fenhouse on May 29, 1942.
He moved from the Rib Lake area to Greenwood (Clark Co., Wis.), then moved to a
farm north of Loyal (Clark Co.). He was employed at Soo Line Railroad for 34
years, and was foreman of Bridge and Building Crew.
He was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church.
Surviving him, besides his wife, are the following children: DuWayne Fravert,
Marshfield, Dick Fravert, Wisconsin Rapids, Mrs. Harold (Darla) Smith, Spencer,
Mrs. Norman (Carol) Kasper, Spencer; step-daughter, Mrs. Francis (Isabel)
Murphy, West Bend; 9 grandchildren; two brothers, Alvin Fravert, Loyal, and
Arthur Fravert, Loyal. Three sisters preceded him in death.
