Conner, John O. (16 SEP 1902 – 13 FEB 1973)

Tuesday afternoon, February 13, 1973, John O. Connor, route 1, Withee (Clark Co., Wis.), died at St. Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield. He was 70 years old.

Kraut-Maurina Funeral Home of Owen made arrangements for the body to be sent to Davis and Davis Funeral Home in Kirksville, Missouri, where Masonic Services were conducted last Friday night, and burial as made Saturday afternoon, February 17 in Novanger, Missouri.

Mr. Conner was born September 16, 1902 in Kirksville, Missouri, and was married July 26, 1939, in Owen (Clark Co.), to the former Cecilia Heikkinen, who survives him. He had been employed as a building and ground civil engineer at Highland Park, Illinois.

In addition to his wife, those surviving him include a son, John Conner Jr., Kirksville, Missouri; two brothers, Earl Conner, Milwaukee, and Jennings Conner, Pleanton, Kansas; and a grandchild.

He was a member of the Masonic Lodge at Highland Park, Illinois.
