Jack Rittenhouse, son of Mr. and Mrs. Dewey Rittenhouse, Owen, was admitted
early Wednesday morning of last week to St. Joseph's Hospital in Chippewa Falls,
where he had his appendix removed.
A week ago this past weekend Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Henke, Owen, and Mr. and Mrs.
Frank Hendricks, rural Withee, enjoyed an outing and visit with Mr. and Mrs. Wm.
Stolp at their home near Fifield.
Tuesday evening of last week Jim Laski was taken to St. Joseph's Hospital, where
he is now recovering from major surgery.
Mrs. Bertha Jens has been home from the hospital for a week now, and is still
weak following her surgery, but is recuperating slowly.
W.K. Dehaven of St. Paul, a nephew, stopped to Se W.K. Doonan on Sunday, and
Bill accompanied him back to St. Paul, where eh visited overnight at the home of
Mr. and Mrs. Ed Nelson.
Mr. and Mrs. Larry Kadolph entertained neighbors at a Blitz party on Saturday
night.
