Walgreens Pharmacy has committed to a new retail building in Medford with work
to begin in fall 2009 or spring 2010.
The Medford planning commission Monday cleared the way for the new pharmacy with
a series of actions okay-ing the rezoning of several lots on the southwest
corner of Highway 13 and 64 intersections to accommodate the 13,650 square foot
building.
Commissioners also approved a permit for a drive-up pharmacy window and the site
plan for the project.
Flad Development of Madison will build the new store on the approximately 2 acre
parcel. The building will be one story with brick and manufacture limestone
facades wrapping around the entire building.
