Benson, Brett A. (12 APR 1996 - 24 NOV 2018)

Brett A. Benson, 22 of Boyd, died Saturday, November 24, 2018 from the result of an auto accident.

He was born on April 12th, 1996 in Clarion, Pennsylvania the son of Bradley and Christine
(Drehmel) Benson. Brett grew up south of Stanley and graduated from Stanley-Boyd High in 2014. He worked for Benson Electrical LLC and Northern Clearing.

Brett was an amazing wrestler and helped his brothers and sister practice. Brett loved bull riding, fishing, and hunting and this year got a nice 8 point buck. Brett had great dancing skills. He was a kind, caring and talkative person. Brett was also one of the biggest Brett Farve fans. He loved to hang out with family and friends.

He is survived by his parents, Brad and Christine, his siblings, Isabella, Regie, Ryan and Brantley all at home, his Paternal Grandparents, Raymond and Dianne Benson of Boyd, his Maternal Grandparents, Vickie (Howard) Anderson of Stanley and Tim (Cindy Avery) Drehmel of Cadott, and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He is also survived by special friend Hailey and best friends Brandon and Chance.

Brett is preceded in death by his Aunt Tina Benson and special family childhood friend Bailey Joan Nitz.

A funeral service will take place at 10:30AM on Friday, November 30, 2018 at Maple Grove Church-South of Stanley with Pastor Steve Mohr officiating. Burial will follow in Edson Union Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 until 8PM on Thursday at the Plombon Funeral Home and Friday one hour prior to services at the church.
