Ft. Leonard Wood, Missouri – Army Private Dennis L. Jasmer, 19, whose parents, Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Jasmer, and wife, Patricia, live on route 2, Withee (Clark Co., Wis.), recently completed eight weeks of basic training at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri.

He received instruction in drill and ceremonies, weapons, map reading, combat tactics, military courtesy, military justice, first aid, and army history and traditions.

Pvt. Jasmer received his training with Company B. of the 3rd Brigade's 4th Battalion.

The private is a 1971 graduate of Gilman High School.
