Baptized Sunday, May 13, 1973 at the Evangelical Lutheran Church, Longwood, was
Darren Rodney Wendt, infant son of Mr. and Mrss. Dennis Wendt of rural Owen
(Clark Co., Wis.). Serving as sponsors for Darren were Mr. and Mrs. Roger Wathke
of Osseo, Wisconsin; Miss Carol Wirtala of Milwaukee and William Wirtala Jr. of
Owen.
Attending the baptismal dinner at the Wendt home were Mr. and Mrs. Roger Wathke
and sons of Owen, Mr. and Mrs. Adolph Wendt and Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Missling
and girls of Owen, Miss Carol Wirtala, Milwaukee, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Wirtala and
sons of Owen, Mrs. Vendla Wirtala, Owen, Church, Mike and Nick Wirtala of Owen,
Miss Colleen Plautz, Owen, and Rev. and Mrs. David Wenger and daughters of
Greenwood.
