USCGC – Coast Guard Boilerman Third Class Richard F. Votava, son of Mr. and Mrs. James F. Votava, Owen (Clark Co., Wis.), has returned to his Norfolk, Virginia home port aboard the Coast Guard High Endurance Cutter Ingham, after a three-week patrol on Ocean Station Delta, 500 miles east southeast of Newfoundland, Canada.

Besides being a search and rescue vessel, the Ingham provided air traffic services and served as a platform for oceanographic and meteorological observations.
