Ronald Lindgren, Owen (Clark Co., Wis.) resident who lives south of Owen on a
farm, took over Jim’s Mobil Service on Tuesday, May 29, 1973, as the new owner
of the station formerly owned and operated for the past 10 years by James Laski.
Ron Lindgren comes well experienced in mechanics and services station work, as
he operated a Standard Oil Service Station for two years at Highland Park,
Illinois. For the past six years he has been working as a mechanic in road
construction, and moved back to his home town of Owen last November, purchasing
a farm 5 miles south of Owen. He was a 1958 graduate of the Owen-Withee High
School, and the son of Mr. and Mrs. Vaner Lindgren.
Mr. Lindgren is married and has three lovely daughters, Rhonda Kay, age 7, Anna
Marie, age 6, and Candace Sue, age 3.
Ron has plans to be able to services cars in mechanics and tires, as well as his
gas business, and invites you to stop in to get acquainted.
Jim Laski has accepted work with the Clark County Highway Department, which he
began this week.
