Mrs. Leon Steinwand of Holcombe visited at the Chris Backe home Thursday.

Thursday evening Mr. and Mrs. Backe attended the graduation of seniors at the Owen-Withee High School, and afterwards attended a party at the Walter Klay home in Owen in honor of their daughter Gwen’s graduation.

Mr. and Mrs. Poppe and family of Baldwin visited with her mother, Mabel Mioland, in Withee and with other relatives in the area.

Mr. and Mrs. Gene Mertens entertained relatives and friends at a party at their home Thursday evening, May 24 in honor of their son Jim’s graduation from Owen0Withee High School.

Mr. and Mrs. Ray Jarvis and family of Marquette, Michigan, visited this weekend at the Doc Jarvis home and with other relatives and friends in the area.

Mrs. Margory Niemi and her daughter and family of Milwaukee visited at the Jesse Capes home over the weekend.
