Dumke, Ernest B. (18 JAN 1900 – 15 JUN 1973)
Services were held at 3 p.m. on Monday, June 18 at the Kraut-Maurina Funeral
Home, Owen, for Ernest R. Dumke, 73, who died Friday at his home.
The Rev. David E. Wenger, pastor of the Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Longwood,
officiated, and burial was made in the Riverside Cemetery.
Mr. Dumke was born January 18, 1900 in Joliet, Illinois. He lived in Waseca
County, Minnesota until 1917, when he moved to Stanley. He farmed their until
1958, and then moved to the town of Green Grove (Clark Co., Wis.), where he had
been operating a farm with his brother, Clarence.
Survivors include four brothers, Clarence Dumke, route 1, Owen, Arthur Dumke and
Walter Dumke, both of Owen, and Fred Dumke, Joliet, Illinois.
