Noah, Herbert (6 OCT 1933 – 29 DEC 2018)
Herbert Noah, 85, Milwaukee, formerly of Greenwood, passed away peacefully in
his sleep on Saturday, Dec. 29, 2018, at Brookfield Rehabilitation and Specialty
Care. On Saturday, Jan. 12, a visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. to the time

of life will continue after the service at Alioto’s in Wauwatosa.
Herb was born on Oct. 6, 1933, in Greenwood, the son of Emil and Marianna (nee
Braun) Noah. After graduating from Greenwood High School in 1951, Herb spent his

unsuspecting kids, to foundations for bridges and buildings throughout the
state. In 1953, he married Donna Leroy and they had four children: Gwenda (Mark)
Helgert of Waukesha, Ned (Mary) Noah of Rio Creek, Cathy Gossen of Kewaunee, and
Connie (John) Novak of Algoma. They later divorced. In 1972, he married Kathi
Raisleger and they had two children: Tracie Noah of Milwaukee, and Ryan Noah of
Charlotte, N.C.
Herb will be dearly missed by his children; his two brothers: Fred (Ruth) Noah
of Hawthorne, Calif., and Elmer (Jill) Noah of Greenwood; four sisters: Evelyn
Hoffman of Hartford, Bernelda Karlen of Marshfield, Arvilla (Bob) Blunck of
Union Grove, and Arlene Stark of Neillsville; eight grandchildren: Leo Noah,
Jessica Krumpos, Audrey Dorheim, John Michael Novak, Kevin Gossen, Heidi
Copiskey, Crystal Deprey, and Lisa Deprey; nine great-grandchildren; three
great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and
friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Emil and Marianna Noah; three brothers:
Howard (in infancy), Norman Noah and Verlan Noah; a sister, Kathleen Fitzl;
three brothers-in-law; a granddaughter and two great-grandchildren (in infancy).

Brookfi eld Rehab and Specialty Care for their loving and compassionate care
over the last seven months. In lieu of fl owers, the family asks that donations
be made to the Wisconsin Humane Society or to Special Olympics (Please include
