Miller, Joshua James (24 FEB 1993 - 20 DEC 2018)

Joshua James Miller, age 25, of Athens, passed away on Thursday, Dec. 20, 2018.

A Celebration of Life gathering was held on Saturday, Dec. 22, 2018, from 12 until 6 p.m. at the Dorchester Memorial Hall. The Maurina-Schilling Funeral Home in Abbotsford was entrusted with the arrangements.

Joshua was born on Feb. 24, 1993, at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield. He attended Athens High School and graduated from Colby High School. Joshua loved his hunting, fishing, four-wheeling and the outdoors. He also enjoyed doing field work on the farm. Most importantly, Joshua loved spending time with his loving daughter. He will be loved and missed by many.

Joshua is survived by his daughter, Kaylee Miller; his mother, Michelle Miller (Geiger); his father, Jason (Tina) Miller; sisters, Amber (Austin) Miller and Whitney (John) Miller; half-sisters, Mersadies Albrecht and Montana Albrecht; and step-sisters, Brittany (Mark) Hagen and Mya (Logan) Larocque. He is further survived by his grandparents, Bob and Jane Geiger, Joan Miller and Susan Messmann; many aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Ray Miller, Jr. and Herman Messmann; and cousin, Dustin Weiler.
