Posda, Florian G. “Fuzz” (23 JUL 1933 - 19 DEC 2018)

Florian G. “Fuzz” Posda, 85 of Stanley, died Wednesday, December 19, 2018 at Oakbrook Health and Rehab Center-Thorp.

He was born on July 23, 1933 to the late George and Rose Mary (Kudingo) Posda. He grew up on the family farm NE of Stanley and served his country in the Army. He returned to the area and farmed for many years. On December 6, 2002 he married Dorothy (Biddle) Borowski. Fuzz was a longtime member of All Saints Parish.

He is survived by his wife, Dorothy of Stanley, a step son, Sam Borowski of Thorp, a step daughter, Yvonne (Richard) Piotter of Stanley, one sister, Agnes Skwierczynski of Norridge, IL and many nieces and nephews.

Florian is preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Richard, Frank, Leonard, Walter and James and sisters, Ethel Zurakowski, Louise Skwierczynski and Theresa Grendzinski.

A memorial mass will be held at 11AM on Friday, December 28, 2018 at Holy Family Catholic Church-Stanley with Father William Felix officiating. Interment will follow with Military Honors in Holy Family Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to services Friday at the Church. Plombon Funeral Service assisted the family with arrangements.
