Blumenstein, Marvin A. (26 NOV 1933 - 2 JAN 2019)

Marvin A. Blumenstein, age 85, of Rib Lake, WI, passed away on Wednesday, January 2, 2019, at his home surrounded by his loving family.

Marvin was born on November 26, 1933, in Medford, to the late William and Freida (Pechstein) Blumenstein. He was married to Sylvia Fliehs on August 9, 1958; she survives.

Marvin graduated from high school and entered the military serving in the United States Air Force. He later worked as a lineman for Taylor Electric. Marv enjoyed hunting, fishing and watching his grandchildren in their sports.

Survivors include his Wife, Sylvia Blumenstein; 4 Children, Marvin (Burdella) Blumenstein, Jody (Dawn) Blumenstein, Tammy (Rick) Westfall, and Bradley Blumenstein; 8 Grandchildren, Kassie (Justin) Blumenstein, Kelsi Blumenstein, Kyle (Tiffany) Blumenstein, Travis (Heather) Blumenstein, Taylor (Madaline) Blumenstein, Tori Blumenstein, Marshall Westfall, and Connor Westfall; 1 Brother, Wayne (Betty) Blumenstein; 3 Sisters, Dorothy Franz, Donna Mohr, and Janet (George) Smola.

Marvin was preceded in death by his Parents, William and Freida; his Sisters, Evelyn Blumenstein, Flora Asleson, and Darlene Madison; 3 Brothers Hartley Blumenstein, Harold Blumenstein, and Eugene Blumenstein.

A Celebration of Life for Marvin Blumenstein will be held on Saturday, January 12, 2019, at the Chelsea Conservation Club in Medford, WI, beginning at 1:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to the family.
