Resech-Miller, Jeanette "Jean" M. (Sauer) (19 JUN 1924 - 2 JAN 2019)
Jeanette "Jean" M. Resech-Miller, age 94, of Medford, passed away on Sunday,
January 6, 2019 at her home under the tender care of hospice.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 19,
2019 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Medford. Father Philip Juza will
officiate. Interment will be held at Evergreen Cemetery. Family and friends are
welcome from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. on Friday, January 18 and from 10:00 a.m.
until time of service Saturday all at the Church.
Jean was born on June 20, 1924, the daughter of Michael and Katherine (Henrichs)
Sauer in Medford. She attended Holy Rosary Catholic School and graduated from
Medford High School. Jean worked for Heimerl's Variety Store, retired from
Taylor Electric after 39 years and worked at Figi's.
Jean was united in marriage to Louis Resech on November 4, 1944. He preceded her
in death on February 2, 1989. On March 26, 1993, she was united in marriage to
Richard "Dick" Miller.
Jean was a member of Holy Rosary and a member of the Sunshine Ladies. She also
was a member of Lublin Legion Auxiliary Post #547. Jean enjoyed dancing and
crocheting.
Jean is survived by her husband, Dick of Medford; her daughter, Kay (Dale)
Ludwig of Medford; three grandchildren: Lynn (Joe) Ludwig-Franitza, Patrick
Ludwig and Brian Ludwig. She is further survived by a sister-in-law, Donna
Sauer; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Louis; five
brothers: Leo (Clara), Felix (Catherine), Alvin (Dorothy), Herb (Marcella) and
Joe (Edna); four sisters: Margaret (Frank) Pernsteiner, Regina (Edward) Werner,
Frances (Alvin) Guth and Delores (Tom) Zicco-Dzik.
