Shirley Nerdrum, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Nerdrum, route 2, Withee, has
accepted a psotion at Fairview Hospital in Minneapolis, working in the
accounting department. Shirley is a 1973 graduate of University of Wisconsin,
Eau Claire.
Mrs. Eugen Sutter has been hospitalized at St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield,
for the past two weeks.
Allen Teter, route 1, Owen, attended the University of Wisconsin campus in
Madison during week for July 8th for freshman registration. Classes begin August
27th.
Weekend visitors at the Russell Phillips home, coming for the wedding of their
son, were Mr. and Mrs. Russell Johnson of Colgate, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Johnson of
Elkhorn, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Luse of Tomahawk, Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Herwitz of
Hartford, Mr. and Mrss. Jerry Bohnert and Mr. and Mrs. Don Bohnert of Tomahawk.
Lori Kadolph celebrated her 6th birthday on Tuesday afternoon at the home of her
parents, Mr. and Mrs. Larry Kadolph, with seven guests for the afternoon, which
ended with cake and ice cream, and the opening of her gifts. That evening both
of her grandparents, coming from Neillsville and Loyal, visited and joined the
party.
Mr. and Mrs. Toni Ciokiewicz visited their son Larry in La Crosse over the
weekend of the 14th, and last Sunday they enjoyed a picnic in the Stanley Park
with Mrs. Lottie Kelley of Winona, and Jack and son Larry of Chicago joining
them. Also Melvin Wang attended with them.
