The letting for the “Mattes” bridge on County Trunk H will be held tomorrow,
Friday December 17, at 10:00, at the office of the Taylor county highway
commissioner W. C. Miller, at the fairgrounds corner, Medford.
This is the 135 foot span over the yellow river, near the farm of a former
Aurora town chairman, Wm. Mattes. It will replace the smaller bridge which was
washed out in the flood of last June.
