Fischer, Mr. and Mrs. Elwood (Gold – 31 AUG 1973)
A dinner and afternoon social were held at the Lester Kallberg home Sunday in
celebration of the 50th anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. Elwood Fischer. About 70
guests participated.
The hosts were the couple's children, Mr. and Mrs. Duane Fischer, Glenn Fischer,
and Mr. and Mrs. Lester (Beverly) Kallberg.
Elwood Fischer and the former Esther Hardrath were married in Owen August 31,
1923. They live on a farm in rural Owen (Clark Co., Wis.), where they have spent
most of their married life.
Relatives were from Faribault, Minnesota, Madison, Waukesha, Unity, Colby,
Curtiss, Marshfield and Owen, and their neighbors of route 1, Owen.
