Sue Ellen Geary, Madison, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Willard Geary of Curtiss
(Clark Co., Wis.), became the bride of Kenneth Lee Christman, son of the late
Mr. and Mrs. Everett Christman of Madison, at 4 p.m., September 8, 1973 at
Aseford Methodist Church, Madison, with Dr. Dale Strong officiating.
Sue was presented in marriage by her father and was wearing a floor length gown
of white lace double knit, accented with pink and yellow lace edging around the
collar and the cuffs of the long sleeves. She carried a single long stemmed
yellow rose.
The bride's sister, Mrs. Roger Maki of rural Owen was the matron of honor, and
wore a floor length gown of multi-colored floral pattern in yellow, orange, pink
and purple, double knit, and carried a long stemmed white rose.
The groom was attended by Terry Christman of Perry, Iowa.
Dinner was served at Peoples Watergate at 7 p.m.
The bride graduated from Abbotsford High School and Madison Area Tech College in
1967, and is an LPN employed at Mendota State Hospital, Madison.
The groom graduated from Madison East High School and Madison Area Tech in 1970,
and is also employed as an LPN at Mendota State Hospital.
The couple will be at home at 3822 (line missing) after they return from a
week's trip to California.
