Foster, Clara Belle (Boardman) (21 NOV 1913 - 16 JAN 2019)

Clara Belle Foster, 105 of Jump River passed away at Cornell Area Care Center on January 16, 2019.

She was born on November 21, 1913 in Eidsvold, WI the daughter of the late Vedell and Nell (Clark) Boardman. She grew up in the Eidsvold area. Clara was united in marriage to Joe Foster on November 15, 1934. They moved to the Jump River area in 1934 farmed and raised their family. Clara enjoyed the outdoors, gardening and growing flowers.

She is survived by her children, Tom (Jan) Foster of Isabella, MN, Mary (Mickey) Burton of Jump River, Dick (Dotty) Foster of St. Paul, MN, Lois (Bob) Pelto of Two Harbors, MN, a daughter in law, Phyllis Foster of Isabella, MN, 25 grandchildren, and several great and great great grandchildren.

Clara is preceded in death by her husband, Joseph (1970), her sons Joe and Jule, 3 grandchildren, her brothers, Marcus and Bernard Boardman and her sisters, Lou Anderson, Betty Smasal and Williamine Paul.

A funeral service will be held at Noon on Saturday, January 19, 2019 at the Jump River Community Center. Burial will follow in Mt. Nebo Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11AM until time of service.
