Kurtinaitis, Genevieve (3 JAN 1915 – 14 OCT 1973)

Funeral services were held at 1:30 yesterday afternoon, Wednesday, October 17, 1973 from the Kraut-Maurina Funeral Home, with F. George Becker, pastor of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church officiating for Genevieve Kurtinaitis. Burial was made at Riverside Cemetery.

The deceased, 58, died at her home in Withee (Clark Co., Wis.) Sunday, October 14, 1973.

The former Genevieve Kapturosky was born in Benid, Illinois on January 3, 1915, and was married April 8, 1936 at Thorp, to Albin Kurtinaits, who survives her.

The couple had farmed in the township of Withee until August of this years, when they retired and moved to the village of Withee.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by five daughters, Mrs. Mildred Sands, Chicago; Mrs. Edmund (Ruth) Burzynski and Mrs. Joseph (Anna) Grabowski, both of Thorp; Mrs. Anthony (Genevieve) Suda Jr., Greenwood, and Miss Linda Kurtinaitis, at home; two brothers, Alfred, New Baltimore, Michigan, and Felix, Staunton, Illinois; and 14 grandchildren.
