Germuenden, Herman J. (26 JAN 1903 – 21 OCT 1973)
Herman J. Germuenden of route 2, Cable, Wisconsin, 70, passed away Sunday
evening at Memorial Medical Center at Ashland. Funeral services were conducted
Wednesday, October 24, 1973, from the United Church of Christ at Cable, at 11
a.m., with burial made at the Neillsville Cemetery.
The deceased was born at Menomonie, Michigan on January 26, 1903, and resided in
Michigan, Minnesota and Wisconsin. He retired from Oglcay Norton Mining Company
in 1967 and made his home at Lake Nemakagon. He was a member of the United
Church of Christ, Cable, National Past-President of American Society of Training
and Development, and took active interest in various local and civic and
conservation organizations.
Surviving are his wife, the former Madeline Servaty; five sons, John of
Richardson, Texas; William Thomas and Peter of Duluth, Minnesota, and James of
Toledo, Ohio; one sister, Mrs. Richard (Clara) Jones of Fox Lake, and 14
grandchildren.
A memorial fund has been established for Emphysema Anonymous, Inc., Box 66, Fort
Meyers, Florida.
