Brindsi, Italy – Captain James V. Barager, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. R. Barager of
Owen (Clark Co., Wis.), has arrived for duty at San Viteo Dei Normanni Air
Station, Italy.
Captain Barager, a procurement officer, is assigned to a unit of the U.S. Air
Force Security Service. He previously served at March AFB, California.
The captain, a 1965 graduate of Owen-Withee High School, received his B.A.
Degree from the University of Wisconsin, Madison, where her was commissioned in
1970 through the Reserve Officer Training Corps program. He holds an M.S. degree
from the University of California at Los Angeles.
His wife, Kristine, is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A.F. Van Horne, 1738C
Wildberry Lane, Glenview, Illinois, and also a graduate of the University of
Wisconsin, Madison.
The couple has two children, Bobby, and a daughter, Jill.
