Neitzel, Diane Purgett (27 OCT 1973)

The wedding of Diane Purgett Neitzel of West Bend and John Kleinke of New Fane, took place at St. John's Lutheran Church at New Fane on Saturday, October 27, 1973 at 2:30 o'clock. The Rev. A. Haupt performed the nuptials and relatives of the groom were the soloists, Earl Kleinke and Wally Mesner, who were accompanied by Marian Haupt at the organ.

The bride's mother is Florence Bergstrom Purgett of Germantown, and the groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Wilber Kleinke of New Fane.

The bride chose a white empire styled A-Line gown accented with lace embroidered tiny roses. She carried a cascade of assorted mums.

Attending the bride was Dawn Thiel as maid of honor, and Michelle Zimmerman, Weldo Kleinke and Arlene Plaskey serving as bridesmaids.

Attending the groom as best man was James Kleinke, with groomsmen Daniel Purgett, Gerald Kleinke and Patrick McCambridge. Ushers were Leon Schultz and Brian Zimmerman.

A buffet reception was held at five thirty o'clock in Hochstien's Hall at Fredonia, followed by dancing.

Attending the wedding from here were Mr. and Mr.s Ray Purgett of Owen; Mr. and Mrs. Don Churkey and family of Withee; Mr. and Mrs. Maynard Purgett and family of Abbotsford, and Mrs. Ormal (Lucy) Austin of Rochester, New York.
