Henrichs, Christine “Chris” P. (Rudolph) (13 SEP 1967 - 23 JAN 2019)

Christine “Chris” P. Henrichs, 51, of Medford, passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 23, 2019 at her residence in the town of Browning under the loving care of her family and Hope Hospice.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 29 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Medford with Father Phil Juza officiating. Visitation will be held at Hemer Funeral Home in Medford from 4-8 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 28, where there will a 7 p.m. Catholic prayer service held that evening. Visitation will continue at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of the service on Tuesday. Interment will be at Holy Rosary Catholic Cemetery in Medford.

Pallbearers were Jacob Henrichs, Cody Tyznick and Cole, Jarod, Mason and Derek Rudolph.

Chris was born on Sept. 13, 1967 in Medford to Ed & Lucille (Erl) Rudolph. She attended grades 1-6 at Holy Rosary Catholic School in Medford and is a 1986 graduate of Medford Sr. High School. She married Douglas M. Henrichs on Oct. 11, 1986 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Medford and he survives.

Chris was a stay at home mom raising their three lovely children. She was co-owner/operator along with her husband, of D & C Livestock Hauling and she also custom raised spring heifers and took care of the beef herd at home. She enjoyed taking care of her home place, gardening, flowers, sitting around the camp fire, camping, collecting cookbooks, loved the outdoors and taking gator rides with her dog, Sadie. She was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Medford.

In addition to her parents and husband, Chris is survived by her children, Dillon Henrichs and Katlyne “Katie” Henrichs, both of Medford; siblings, Ed (Sue) Rudolph and Bob (Wendy) Rudolph, all of Medford and Karen (Todd) Rudolph of Ogema; brothers and sisters-in-law, Debbie (Blaine) Knutson of LaCrescent, Minn., Barb (Dan) Graff of Stetsonville, Kathy (Roy) Jochimsen of Withee, Steve (Mary) Henrichs and Diane (Tim) Anderson, all of Medford and Bev (Jeff) Steinke of Eagle River; and parents-in-law, Peter and Esther Henrichs of Medford.

Chris was preceded in death by a son, Lucas M. Henrichs in 1996.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions to be given to Hope Hospice of Medford.
