Frane, Lydia A. (15 Aug 1915 - 21 Mar 2001)
Lydia A Frane, 85, of Royal Oak died Wednesday, March 21, 2001, in Lourdes Nursing Home, Waterford. She was born August 15, 1915 in Owen, Wisconsin.
Mrs. Frane was a member of the National Shrine of the Little Flower, Royal Oak, for 48 years. She formerly worked in sales at Peven Dry Goods Department Store in Owen and was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who will be missed by all.
Her husband, Edward A, Frane, whom she married June 28, 1941, in Shrine of the Little Flower, died June 1, 1998. A grandchild, Hope E. Dery, and five siblings also are deceased.
Surviving are daughters, Sharon (Joseph) Dery of Portage, and Theresa Surma, Royal Oak; grandchildren, Renee, Joy, Joseph and Elizabeth; and great-grandchildren, Julia, Benjamin and Grace.
Visitation, 2-8 p.m.
Friday at the William Sullivan and Son Funeral Home, 705 W. 11 Mile, Royal Oak;
Scripture service, 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home; in state, 9:30 a.m.
Saturday until 10 a.m. Mass at National Shrine of the Little Flower, Royal Oak;
burial, Oakland Hills Memorial Gardens, Novi; memorials, the Arthritis
