Frane, Vincent Peter (1 May 1917 - 15 Nov 2000)

Vincent Peter Frane, 83, of Owen, died Nov. 15, 2000, at Wausau Hospital in Wausau.

Service will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Owen. Burial will be at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery in Colby.

 Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday a the Maurina Funeral Home in Owen.  A Prayer Service will be held at 7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

 He was born May 1, 1917, in Colby. He had been a truck driver and dispatcher for the former Foremost Foods, retiring in 1979.

Survivors include his wife, Irene (nee Voge) Frane, of Owen; four sons, Roy Frane of Marshfield, Eugene (Patty) Frane of Mayville, Terrie (Amy) Frane of Bloomingdale, Ill., and Jeff Frane of Goodyear, Ariz.; his daughter, Waverlee (Tim) Jens of Wild Rose; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; one brother; Donald (Mary Ann) Frane of Colby; and one sister, Catherine (Ernest) White of Walla Walla, Washington.
