Benjamin J. Kunze (29 Sept. 1983 - 11 Jul. 1998)

Benjamin Joseph Kunze, 14, Colby, died Saturday, July 11, 1998, at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Marshfield, as the result of an ATV accident.

Funeral services were Wednesday, July 15 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Colby. Burial was in St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery, town of Colby, Clark County. Father John Malik presided.

His uncles, Paul Kunze, Tom Kunze, Philip Kunze, Richard Kunze, Bruce Kunze and Les Timm, will serve as pallbearers.

He was born Sept. 29, 1983, in Marshfield to Steven and Karen (Timm) Kunze. He would have been an eighth grader at St. Mary’s Catholic School this fall. He is survived by his parents Steven and Karen Kunze of Colby; his brothers and sisters Jason, Catherine, Nicholas, Jennifer, Leann, Andrew, Monica, Luke and Justin Kunze at home; his paternal grandparents, Donald and Lucianne Kunze of Colby and his paternal great-grandfather William Pupp of Ashland. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Alvin and Elsie Timm.
