Jerome Reynolds A. (30 Apr 1929 - 8 Nov 2002)
Jerome A. Reynolds, 73, of Dorchester, died at his residence Friday, Nov. 8,
2002.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at St. Louis Catholic Church,
Dorchester. Father Louis Schaefer will celebrate the Mass of Christian Burial.
Interment will be in the Dorchester Memorial Cemetery.
Visitation with family and friends will be held from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday
with a rosary service at 7 p.m. in the Maurina Funeral Home, Dorchester.
Pallbearers are Chuck Reynolds, John Reynolds, Clark Reynolds, Wayne Smith,
Lacey King and Jesse Rieck.
Jerome was born on April 30, 1929, in Marshfield, the son of Fred and Mary (nee
Stelzel) Reynolds. He was united in marriage to Mary Ann Schopper on Oct. 29,
1949 at St. Louis Catholic Church, Dorchester. Jerome, his father and a
brother-in-law owned and operated the Bruckerville Cheese Factory in the town of
Holton and later the Dorchester Cheese Factory.
The cheese factory was purchased by Beatrice Foods where Jerome was employed as
a manager until retiring in 1994.
He was a member of the St. Louis Catholic Church.
Jerome will be dearly missed by his wife of 53 years, Mary Ann; three sons,
Dennis (Kate) Reynolds, of Dorchester, Tom (Elaine) Reynolds, of Dorchester, and
Steve (Tammie) Reynolds, of Rib Lake; 10 grandchildren, Catina King, Yolana
Reynolds, Cari Reynolds, Stacey Rieck, Kim Reynolds, Melissa Reynolds, Steve
Reynolds, Amber Reynolds, Ashley Reynolds and Ann Reynolds; five
great-grandchildren; four sisters, Gladys Zettler, of Loyal, Grace (Cliff)
Wetterau, of Dorchester, Violet Rajewski of Colby, and Mary Ann (Joe) Meyer, of
Medford; three brothers, Tom (Elaine) Reynolds and James (Leora) Reynolds, all
of Dorchester, and Ted (Leurelle) Reynolds, of Wausau.
He was preceded in death by his parent and four brothers, Fred Reynolds, Alvin
Reynolds and two infant brothers.
