Albert G. Winchell (11 Jul 1909 - 5 Sept 2003)

Albert G. Winchell, 94, Merrill, formerly of Dorchester, died Friday, Sept. 5, at Good Samaritan Hospital, Merrill.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 9, at Peace United Church of Christ in Dorchester. Burial will be in Dorchester Memorial Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at Maurina Funeral Home, Dorchester, and Tuesday, Sept. 9, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Peace United Church of Christ in Dorchester.

He was born July, 11, 1909, to Joel and Marie (Tischendorf) Winchell. He was married to Merle Reimer on Sept. 27, 1933.

He is survived by his wife, Merle Winchell, Merrill; daughters Marion (Lavern) Yorde, Merrill, and Doris Schmidt, Kempster; 10 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; and sisters Margaret Johnson, Des Plaines, Ill., and Irene Atzen, Sun Prairie.
