Dolores Yaron (17 Jan 1928 - 19 Jan 2003)
Dolores H. Yaron, 75, Dorchester, died Sunday, Jan. 19 at her home. Funeral
services were Thursday, Jan. 23 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church
in Lublin, with Rev. Philip Juza officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery.
Pallbearers were Malen Juzwiak, Mitch Surman, Gene Moser, Deb, Jeremy and Jason
Yaron.
The former Dolores Surman was born January 17, 1928, in Chicago, Ill. to the
late Frank and Helen (Jurowski) Surman. She graduated from Carl Schurz High
School in Chicago. She moved to Withee and worked for Hurd Millwork in Medford.
Her marriage to Tony Yaron, Sr., who survives, took place on June 6, 1953 at St.
Stanislaus Catholic Church. They moved to Dorchester in 1954, and she was
employed by the Dorchester State Bank as a cashier and bookkeeper. She retired
from the Dorchester Co-op as a bookkeeper after 25 years.
In addition to her husband, survivors include four sons, Tony (Rachel) and Carl
(Diane), both of Mosinee, Steven (Denise) of Medford and Jim (Diana) of New
Richmond; a brother, Robert (Jeanne) of Holcombe; two sisters, Barb (Jim) Hansen
of Minnetonka, Minn., and Wanda Moser of Dorchester; eight grandchildren and a
great-grandson.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Pau
