Kademan, Oscar (13 DEC 1881 – 14 JAN 1974)
Oscar Kademan, route 1, Curtiss (Clark Co., Wis.), died early Monday morning at
the Colonial House in Colby. He was 92 years of age.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. yesterday, Wednesday, January 16, 1974 from
St. Paul's Lutheran Church in the town of Green Grove. The Rev. Steven
Hasenstein, pastor, officiated, and burial followed in the Green Grove Cemetery.
Mr. Kademan farmed his entire life near Curtiss, in the town of Green Grove,
where he was born December 13, 1881, and received his education.
His marriage on October 4, 1913 in St. Paul's Lutheran Church, town of Green
Grove, was to the former Flora Johnson, who preceded him in death September 12,
1970. The couple had celebrated their golden wedding anniversary in 1963.
He was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church.
Survivors include three sons, Harvey and David Kademan, both of Curtiss, and
Leonard Kademan of Spencer; a daughter, Mrs. Marvin (Elaine) Seefluth,
Abbotsford; a sister, Mrs. (Emma) Sebold, Sheboygan; 14 grandchildren, and 20
great-grandchildren.
Preceding him in death, in addition to his wife, were a son, two brothers and
two sisters.
