Hansen, Alfred (13 NOV 1896 – 27 JAN 1974)

Services were held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Kraut-Maurina Funeral Home at Owen for Alfred Hansen, 77, of 205 1/2 N. Bride Street, Chippewa Falls, formerly of route 2, Withee (Clark Co., Wis.), who died Sunday at St. Joseph's Hospital in Chippewa Falls.

Officiating at the services was Rev. Kurt A. Sampson, pastor of the First Congregational Church, United Church of Christ in Owen, and burial was made in the Nazareth Lutheran Cemetery in Withee.

The wake was held at the funeral home starting at 3 p.m. Monday.

Born November 13, 1896 in Stevens Point, Mr. Hansen had farmed in the town of Hixon (Clark Co.) for 41 years. For the past year he had made his home in Chippewa Falls.

He is survived by four brothers, Walter E. and Raymond A. Hansen, both of Chippewa Falls, Emil A. Hansen, Withee, and Victor E. Hansen, Chicago; and a sister, Mrs. Tillie Pres, California.

Preceding him in death were a sister and a brother.
