Saturday guests at the Russell Westendorf home were Mr. and Mrs. Ron Zarada of St. Paul, Minnesota.

Spending the weekend at the Cornel Erickson home were Howard Erickson and daughter Marcia, Addison, Illinois, Robert Swanson of Lombard, Illinois, and Ken Foran, also of Illinois. Mr. Foran is the mayor of Dellwood, and is also a mining engineer, and was in this area on a terrain survey.

Sue Nevala returned to her studies at Green Bay on Sunday, after spending the weekend at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ray Nevala. While her she attended the Ciombar and Miller wedding on Saturday.

Charlie Whittemore was taken by ambulance to St. Joseph's Hospital last Thursday suffering from a nose bleed. He is still under observation to determine the cause. Mr. and Mrs. Art Whittemore visited him on Saturday.

Mr. and Mrs. August Mertens and family, Stanley, Mr. and Mrs. Gene Mertens, Withee, and Mrs. Iva Mertens, Stanley nursing home, attended the wedding of Mark Miller and JoAnne Ciombar Saturday afternoon. Mrs. Ellen Miller of Withee also attended the wedding.
