Albrecht, Walter J. (20 MAY 1936 - 30 JAN 2019)
Walter J. Albrecht passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones on January
30, 2019 at the age of 82.
He is survived by his wife Eleanor, son Ron (Sue) Albrecht, Gary (Rica)
Albrecht; grandchildren Angie (Mick) Stener, Mark (Jenny) Mangelsen, Angie
(Jess) Albrecht, Rene (Erik) Westlund, Elaine (Joe) Klawiter, Alex (Justin)
Livingston; great grandchildren, Adam & Ryan Stener, Kaden & Lauryn Mangelsen,
Oliver Westlund, Abigail & Alexander Klawiter, Zoey & Tristan Livingston.
The service will be held on Saturday, February 9, 2019, at Nash-Jackan Funeral
Home, Ladysmith, WI. Visitation will be from 9:00 - 11:00 am. Service by Pastor
Bert Schultz at 11:00 am.

Walter J. Albrecht passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones on Wednesday,
Jan. 30, 2019, at the age of 82.
Walt was born in Ladysmith, to Elsie and Walter Albrecht, Sr., on May 20, 1936.
He served our country in the Armed Forces for three years, stationed in Korea.
He received a bachelor’s degree at Northland College.
He taught high school German and history for 32 years at Flambeau Schools in
Tony. He also coached freshman basketball for years. Eleanor Woodmansee met Walt
in college and they were happily married for 59 years. They have two sons, Ron
and Gary.
Walt was preceded in death by his parents and younger brother, Larry.
He is survived by his wife, Eleanor; his sons, Ron (Sue) Albrecht and Gary
(Rica) Albrecht; his grandchildren, Angie (Mick) Stener, Mark (Jenny) Mangelsen,
Angie (Jess) Albrecht, Rene (Erik) Westlund, Elaine (Joe) Klawiter and Alex
(Justin) Livingston; his great-grandchildren, Adam and Ryan Stener, Kaden and
Lauryn Mangelsen, Oliver Westlund, Abigail and Alexander Klawiter, Zoey and
Tristan Livingston.
The service will be held on Saturday, Feb. 9, at Nash-Jackan Funeral Home in
Ladysmith.
Visitation will be from 9-11 a.m. Service by Pastor Bert Schultz at 11 a.m.
