Vince, Arlene Rose (21 AUG 1940 - 30 JAN 2019)
Arlene Rose Vince, 78, of Ladysmith, died on Wednesday, Jan. 30, 2019, in
Ladysmith.
Alene was born on Aug. 21, 1940, in Brooklyn, N.Y., to Vincent and Charlotte
Vince. She grew up in Brooklyn. She later moved to Wesson, Miss., Illinois and
Indiana before eventually making Ladysmith her home when she came to Rusk County
in 1968.
She married Robert Martin in Hazlehurst, Miss., on Dec. 22, 1956.
She enjoyed her vegetable and flower gardens. She also spent time with her many
grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She always had a crossword puzzle book.
Arlene is survived by her sons, Robert Martin of Lewistown, Mont., and Paul
Allsage of Eau Claire; her daughters, Julie (Jeff) Loomis of Rochester, Minn.,
Charlotte (Albert) Reisner of Glen Flora and Cheryl (Mike) Bratina of Ladysmith;
her son-in-law, John McEathron of Fond du Lac; her daughter-in-law, Shari Martin
of Lewiston; 23 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren. She is also survived
by her sisters, Margret Millsape of Blue Island, Ill. and Colette (Harold) Dugan
of Vandelia, Ill.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert; her parents; her sons, James
and Michael Martin and her daughter, Rose McEathron.
