Friday, April 5, 1974 was the last day of work at the Master Packaging
Corporation for two retirees, Mrs. Mary Reinertson and Ed Osborne of Greenwood.
Mrs. Reinertson had been with the firm for the past 21 1/2 years, and Osborne
for 22 years.
On Thursday, March 28, the employees and plant honored the retirees with a noon
day party and presented them with a cash gift, as well as a gift of cash from
the Master Package Corporation.
On Friday, April 5, when the Master Package Union held their monthly meeting in
the Woodland Hotel Club Room, another party honored Mrs. Reinertson and Mr.
Osborne following the meeting, with lunch and refreshments in the Tap Room.
