Korenkewicz, Joseph #2 (5 MAR 1916 – 10 MAY 1974)
The Rev. George Becker, pastor of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Owen,
conducted services at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, May 13, 1974 at the Kraut-Maurina
Funeral Home for Joseph Korenkewicz, 58, route 1, Owen (Clark Co., Wis.), who
died at 6:45 p.m. Friday at his home in Owen.
A preliminary report of an autopsy performed at Marshfield at the request of
Robert Lulloff, Clark County Coroner, indicated that death was the result of a
heart ailment.
Burial was made at Riverside Cemetery, Withee.
Mr. Korenkewicz was born March 5, 1916, in Chicago, where he attended grade
school, and lived in the Chicago area for 48 years. For the past 10 years he has
been making his home with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Martin Korenkewicz on route
1, Owen.
Surviving include his parents; three brothers, Arthur, Delton, Illinois, Robert,
Cedar Lake, Indiana, and Donald, Owen; three sisters, Mrs. Corliss (Irene)
Adams, Fort Worth, Texas, Mrs. Clyde (Lucille) Armspiger, Miami, Florida, and
Mrs. Richard (Dorothy) Jankowski, Chippewa Falls.
