Mrs. Barbara Gaulke was among the graduating class at the University of
Wisconsin, Eau Claire this spring. Mrs. Gaulke graduated from Cumberland High
School, attended University of Wisconsin, River Falls, and graduated with a B.S.
degree from Kansas State College, Manhattan, Kansas. She received her Masters of
Science degree in Education from the University of Wisconsin, Eau Claire on May
18, 1974. She has a straight A average for all graduate courses taken during
summer sessions and night classes the past four years. She has been a primary
teacher for the past eight years at Owen-Withee, and is now qualified for
License 317 – Reading Specialist for the State of Wisconsin.
Mrs. Gaulke lives with her husband, Wayne, and two sons, Gregg and Glen, at
Colby, where Dr. Gaulke, a veterinarian, has had a practice for the past 14
years.
