Mrs. Rueben Powers of Prairie du Chien was a visitor at the home of Mr. and Mrs.
Arne Laakso on Saturday.
Mr. and Mrs. Arne Laakso spent Sunday with their son and family, Mr. and Mrs.
Michael Laakso, in Neenah, at the new home which they recently purchased.
Mrs. Herman Heldt returned home Friday from St. Mary's Hospital, Milwaukee,
having had surgery there on May 14.
Mrs. Herman Gumuenden (Madeline Servaty) of Cable, Mr. and Mrs. Tom Gumuenden
and three sons of Duluth, Minnesota, visited Mrs. L.W. Cattanach and Mr. and
Mrs. Richard Hughes Saturday afternoon.
Mrs. L.W. Cattanach and Mr. and Mrs. Bert Cattanach drove to Marshfield Sunday
afternoon to attend the graduation of Kay Cattanach, daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
James Cattanach.
Mr. and Mrs. David Seidel of Viroqua spent the weekend of the 19th at the home
of her father, Fred Amacher. A birthday party for Fred was celebrated Sunday,
with all the children joining the celebration. Sheila is now home from WSU,
Oshkosh.
Mary Ellen Hughes arrived home for Memorial Day and will visit for a week at the
home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. R.F. Hughes.
