Tim Burris left for his home in Florida Sunday by plane from Minneapolis, after
visiting his folks, Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Burris.
Weekend visitors at the Floyd Gereau home were Mr. and Mrs. Ervin Gabrielson of
Minneapolis.
Weekend visitors at the Russ Westendorf home were Mr. and Mrs. Larry Schultz of
Hartford, Mr.a nd Mrs. Ron Zarda of St. Paul, and Mr. and Mrs. Wally Kiene and
girls of Milwaukee.
Mr. and Mrs. Sylvester Multhauf were surprised when their son, GMG Merle
Multhauf arrived from his base in San Diego. For the past four months he has
served in the Navy on the West Pack in the Pacific and will be home until the
18th.
When Mr. and Mrs. Sylvester Multhauf were riding in the area northeast of Withee
on Tuesday, they saw a very lark wolf in the field.
Larry Hansen and daughter Jennifer of Minneapolis visited at the home of his
parents, Mr. and Mrs. Emil A. Hansen, on Saturday and Sunday, coming to see his
father in Victory Memorial Hospital in Stanley.
Emil A. Hansen fell at his home Monday breaking some ribs, and was taken by
ambulance to Victory Memorial Hospital, Stanley. Mrs. Hansen has visited him
daily.
