DeLasky, Allan W. (17 OCT 1942 - 4 FEB 2019)
Allan W. DeLasky, age 76, of Prentice, passed away Monday, Feb. 4, 2019, at
Essentia Clinic in Ashland.
Allan was born Oct. 17, 1942 in Emery, WI the son of the late Michael and Minnie
(Schweikert) DeLasky. He was united in marriage to Nila Peevler in Prentice on
June 13, 1964.
Allan was raised in Emery and attended Dover Graded School and Phillips High
School graduating in 1960. He worked for Bob Dunbar, Harnischferger-Milwaukee,
Prentice Hydraulics and was Superintendent of the Village of Prentice until
retirement.
Allan is survived by his wife Nila of Prentice; children, Wesley (Jody) DeLasky
of Phillips, Trina (Vince Howard) DeLasky of Merrill and Lyle DeLasky of Texas;
by grandchildren, Kegan (Mandy) Parnell, Mitchell (Michaela Albert) DeLasky,
Harley (Julie) DeLasky, Jamie (Evan) Lund, Jessica (Tyler Knudson) Scott,
Jennifer (Lucas) Zimmerman, Alexis (Zach Loman) Howard, Zach Howard, Annah
Waller, Samantha O’Connell, Annie Jarvensivu and Brad Jarvensivu, Hank Parnell,
Jr.; great-grandchildren, Jaylen, Kenzley, Harper, Rowan, Netta and Brooks;
sisters: Arlene Elmers, Marion DeLasky, Judy Duhr, Jean (Lee) Belan; brothers,
Melvin (Marion) DeLasky, Mike (Violet) DeLasky, Robert (Cookie) DeLasky. Many
nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, siblings Edgar DeLasky and Millie
Bazatta.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 16 at the
First Baptist Church in Prentice with Pastor Neil Schindler officiating. Family
and friends may call at the church on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of
service.
