Johnson Mosher, Vera (17 April 1907-4 December 1992)


Vera Mosher, 85, 124 4th Ave., Stanley, died today at Victory Medical
Center in Stanley.

She was born in town of Worden, Clark County, April 17, 1907, to
Edwin and Ella (Moses) Carmien. She grew up in Worden. She married Carl
H. Johnson April 28, 1926, in Stanley. They farmed in Worden until 1954
when they moved into the city of Stanley. He died June 7, 1972. On
August 5, 1974, she married George Mosher in Stanley. He died in 1981.
She has lived in Stanley since.

Survivors include two sons, Fred of Mosinee, Carl E. of Merrill; a
daughter, Jane (Cleve) Shilts of Boyd; two stepsons, Charles Mosher of
Ely, Minnesota, Robert Mosher of Mars, Pennsylvania; nine grandchildren;
ten great-grandchildren; two sisters, Maxine Smith and Mary Krueger,
both of Stanley.

She was preceded in death by her parents; both husbands; a son; a
sister.

Services will be Monday at Our Savior's Lutheran Church, with the Rev.
James Leschensky officiating. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery, both
in Stanley.
