Harold Matthias returned to his home at Ashland, after spending the past two weeks visiting in the Curtiss area.

Mrs. Alvina Eckes of Abbotsford visited the home of Mr. and Mrs. Cornel Erickson. Visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Erickson last Thursday were Mr. and Mrs. William George of Turtle Lake.

Mr. and Mrs. Pete Peissig were dinner guests Sunday at the home of their son, Mr. and Mrs. Don Peissig and family at Wausau.

Helping Heber Roix celebrate his birthday on Sunday were Mr. and Mrs. Dale Thomas and family of Milwaukee; Mr. and Mrs. Milton Yestad and family, and Mr. and Mrs. Lester Frank of Greenwood; Mr. and Mrs. Tom Krueger and family, Aniwa; Mrss. Edith Buss and daughter Ruby of Thorp, and Mrs. Elsie Ystad and Lilly Rossow of Loyal

Mrs. Alma Long returned home on Thursday of last week, after spending the past two weeks visiting at Racine, Manitowoc, and Two Rivers.

Mr. and Mrs. Martin Huebnerfuss and Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Huebnerfuss of Wausau and Mr. and Mrs. Delmer Augustine of Curtiss attended the 40th wedding anniversary of their cousin at Altoona on Sunday.
