Miss Carla Rae Schmeiser, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Schmeiser, Route 2,
Medford, became the bride of Gary Michael Czarnezki Saturday afternoon, June 15,
1974 at St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Medford.
The 2 o'clock ceremony was performed by Rev. Warren Behling and Rev. David
Malsch, assistant and Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Medford. The bride was given
in marriage by her parents to the son of Mr. and Mrs. Milan Czarnezki, Medford.
For her wedding, the bride chose an entrained gown of lace over taffeta, in
empire styling and a fingertip veil. She carried a bouquet of re roses and white
carnations with lilies of the valley.
Mrs. Bill Kovatch, Owen, attended the bride as matron of honor, and the
bridesmaids were Miss Susie Bootzin, Stetsonville, Miss Bonnie Werner and Miss
Joanne Czarnezki, both of Medford. Flower girls were Amy Kovatch and Jane
Retterath.
There were escorted by Jim Czarnezki, best man, and Alber Schmeiser of
Janesville, Mark Meyer, Medford, and Del Kauss, Janesville. Ushering duties were
shared by James Kauss, Janesville, and John Czarnezki, Curtiss.
The newlyweds were honored at a wedding reception, supper and dance at the VFW
Clubhouse, Medford.
The Carnezki's, graduates of the Medford Senior High School, will make their
home at 119 N. Washington Ave., Medford. Mr. Czarnezki is employed by Francis
Melvin Ready Mix.
