Marine Sgt. James A. Fitzl, son of Mr. and Mrs. George Fitzl of route 2,
Greenwood (Clark Co., Wis.), participated in training exercise Radue – 74 at the
Marine Corps Base, Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. As a member of the 2nd Radio
Battalion, home based at Camp Geiger, North Carolina, he helped evaluate the
unit's techniques and equipment while providing communication support during
simulated combat situations.
