Rouse, Linda Louise (22 JUN 1974)
After a honeymoon to Chicago, Mr. and Mrs. David Allen Smith, who were wed
during a 2 p.m. ceremony Saturday, June 22, 1974, returned to Owen (Clark Co.,
Wis.), where they are making their home.
Miss Linda Louis Rouse, a 1973 graduate of Owen-Withee High School, and David
Allen Smith, a carpenter, were united in marriage by the Rev. Steven Hasenstein
at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Bert Rouse, route 1, Owen. A
reception at their home followed in the evening.
The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Smith, also of route 1, Owen.
For her day, the bride selected a gown of sheer organza and Venice lace, with
apron effect on the full skirt. A Juliet cap held her chapel length veil, and
she carried a bouquet of red roses and white gardenias.
The maid of honor, Miss Connie Rouse, and the bridesmaid, Miss Mary Jo Revord,
both of Owen, wore empire aqua dresses. They carried parasols filled with blue
and white gardenias. Lina Rouse was the bride's junior attendant.
Dennis Swenson, Owen, served the groom as best man, and Ryan Nesbitt, Curtiss,
was groomsman.
