Rosenquist, John K. (2 NOV 1877 – 29 JUL 1974)

John Karl Rosenquist, age 96, who had been living at 830 Harbor Street in Waukegan, Illinois, passed away June 29, 1974 at St. Therese Hospital, Waukegan.

He was born November 2, 1877 in Finland and had been a resident of the United States since 1907. He was a former resident of the Owen area (Clark Co., Wis.), having farmed here for many years, and since 1957 had been making his home in Waukegan.

Surviving are two sons, Harvey and Harry, both of Waukegan; also five granddaughters, Mildred Tappen at Waukegan, Illinois, Jeanette Kile of the state of Oregon, Joyce Wonderland and Judy Hannemowec (?), Zion, Illinois, and Carol Raisanen of California; 17 great-grandchildren and 8 great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held on Wednesday, July 31 at Quietdale Funeral Home in Waukegan.

Graveside services will be held today at 1 p.m. at Riverside Cemetery, Withee (Clark Co.).
