DeGraw, Violet (8 May 1899-12 January 1986)


Services for Mrs. Harry (Violet) DeGraw will be Saturday at St.
Anthony's Catholic Church, Loyal. Mrs. DeGraw died Thursday at the
Marshfield Living Center, where she had resided since 1969.

The Rev. Dennis Lynch will officiate. Burial will be in the Loyal
Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday until time of services at Rinka
Funeral Home, Loyal.

The former Violet Jeffries was born May 8, 1899 in Northfield, South
Dakota, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. W. Jeffries. She attended school
in South Dakota.

She worked in Aberdeen, South Dakota and in Minneapolis as a
telephone operator. She was also a telephone supervisor in Duluth,
Minnesota, before her marriage. She was married to Harry DeGraw January
30, 1924 at Spencer. They farmed near Spencer until they moved to Loyal.
Her husband died August 3, 1959.

Surviving are several nieces and nephews.

Besides her husband, she was predeceased by her parents and one
sister.
